Maddox Family Counseling is passionate about helping our clients and our community. We specialize in play therapy working with kids and teens, but we also provide counseling to adults, families and couples. At Maddox Family Counseling, we strive to bridge the gap between those who are seeking professional counseling and the barriers that stand in the way of receiving treatment and relief from daunting symptoms. We work tirelessly to ensure that the process of seeking counseling is smooth and welcoming, from our communication to set up sessions, to our office environment. So many times, families and individuals do not receive the help they so desperately need and deserve due to factors beyond their control. It is our mission to help remove obstacles and provide a safe, welcoming presence whether you meet with us in person or via telehealth. Whatever sources of pain you may be experiencing, whether depression, anxiety, stress, or trauma, we are here and we are ready to walk the path of healing with you. There is hope!
Hi, I’m Daniel! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist with 6 years of experience providing counseling to families, individuals, couples kids, and teens. Throughout my career, I have provided services in many different settings including in-home counseling, in office counseling and online counseling. The focus of my work has been working with individuals and their families. I have experience working with survivors of trauma, individuals with depression, stress and anxiety, as well as couples with relationship distress.
My counseling style is warm, interactive and focused on my client. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I aim to make each individual and couple feel heard and understood. My approach for individuals combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, humanistic, and rational-emotive counseling. When working with couples, I utilize systems therapy and solution-focused therapy.
I look forward to working with you! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and I will be glad to discuss your concerns.
